David E. Kettlewell, Jr., 61, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at the
Sistersville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born December 8, 1947 in Morgantown, WV the son of Thelma A. Fowler Kettlewell and the late David
Elwood Kettlewell, Sr.
He is survived by his mother Thelma A. Kettlewell of Glen Dale, WV; his sister Ann E. Border and special brother-in-
law Dick Border of Glen Dale, WV; 3 Nephews and 1 Niece, several Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
Family and friends will be received for visitation on Wednesday, August 12, 2009 from 6 – 8 p.m. at CARE Funeral
& Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 13,
2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the CARE Chapel with Rev. Tim Wilt officiating.

Frances Anna Baker, “Frannie”, 68, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2009 at
her home.
Frannie worked for Marx Toys and was a loving caregiver for many people.
She was born in Bellaire Ohio on February 2, 1941, the daughter of the late Stanley Kutek and Blanch (Wrobel)
Kutek.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers; Eugene and Walter Kutek, and one sister, Mary
Anne Kutek Silber.
Frannie is survived by her loving husband Kye E.Baker of Moundsville; One son, Ron Burkey of Moundsville; two
step-daughters, Betty Huff of Moundsville and Judy Glover of Ohio; One step-son, David Baker of N.C.; and two
Grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
There will be no visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Kaylie Anne Cunningham,16, of Moundsville, WV, passed away at home, Monday, August 10, 2009.
She was born February 2, 1993 in Glen Dale, WV the daughter of Ed & Beth (Robinson) Cunningham.
She was a student at John Marshall High School. Kaylie was an avid four wheeler rider and a “country girl at
heart”. She was Christian by faith.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Ralph Cunningham; her grandmother, Teri Robinson; and her
uncle, Allen Kirby.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandfather Buck Robinson of Glen Dale, WV; her grandmother,
Sandy Cunningham of Moundsville; her sisters Shasta Walton and Shayla Cunningham both of Moundsville; a
brother, Mack Cunningham of Moundsville; a special friend Steven Conway; and several aunts, uncles, cousins &
friends.
Family & Friends will be received for visitation on Friday, August 14, 2009 from 5 – 9 p.m. at CARE Funeral &

Williams, Gerald O., 33, of Glen Easton, WV, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2009 at his home.
He was born September 19, 1975 in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late Gerald A. Williams and Evelyn M. (Burkey)

Gerald was a Luthier by trade, he enjoyed fishing, hiking, building guitars, and was a Christian man by faith.
In addition to his mother he is survived by one brother, Nathan W. (Phyllis) Williams of Glen Easton; several
Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and close friends.

Diana Burger, 56, of Moundsville passed away Sunday, August 16, 2009 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
She was born July 19, 1953 in Martins Ferry, OH the daughter of the late Paul & Martha Reese.
She was Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister Sandy Reese Swauger.
She is survived by her husband Bill Burger of Moundsville; 3 sons, Justin Handley of Bellaire, OH, Raymond
Handley of Wellsburg, WV and Jared Handley of Wellsburg; and 2 grandchildren.

Charles “Chuckie” William Amos, 65, of McColloch Street in Wheeling, WV, formerly of Greggsville
WV, went to meet his savior on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital.
Charlie was a former employee of McKeen Security, Wheeling Coffee & Spice and the Wheeling Civic Center. He
also served for years as a police reservist.
He was preceded in death by his parents Elmer & Velva Bowers Amos; a brother Paul Amos; and a sister Louise
Howe
He is survived by his devoted wife and best friend of 25 years Gaynelle; two children, Amy Hutchison (Matthew
Cox) & James (Holly) Hutchison both of Wheeling; two granddaughters, Grace Arianna age 5 and Makayla Hope
age 2, these girls were pappy's pride & joy; 2 brothers, Leroy (Sandy) Armstrong of Waynesburg, PA and George
(Sis) Amos of Benwood, WV; a sister Dorothy Ullom of Dallas, WV; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Charlie will forever be remembered by those who loved him as testament to the strength of the human spirit and
proof that miracles do happen. He will be sadly missed.

Carl Lee Frye, 60, of Moundsville, WV, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital.
He was born April 5, 1949 in Rocklick, WV, the son of the late Texie L. (Frye) Reynolds.
He attended Adena Hills Sheltered Workshop in Moundsville, WV and loved to spend his free time fishing the local
streams and rivers. He also loved bowling with his friends.
He was a member of the Crabapple Church in PA.
He is survived by his special uncle and aunt Austin & Susie Frye of Moundsville; an uncle Vernon Frye of
Moundsville; a cousin Charles Frye of Moundsville; and many special friends including David Dolin, Randy
Redman, Dave, Charity, Marge Goode, Mike Gunto, Joe Cecil, Pat Wade, George McCarahan, B.J. Baker, Steve &
Monica Masters and Larry Alexander.

Richard E. Litman, Sr.,79, of Big Grave Creek, Moundsville, WV, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2009
at home.
He was born April 1, 1930 in Marshall County, WV the son of the late John A. and Pancy Huntsman Litman.
He was retired from Triangle Conduit and was a member of the Moundsville Moose lodge for 35 years.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Caroline Litman in October of 2008; a brother John
A, Litman, Jr.; and sisters Sylvia Connor, Helen Crow and May Emery.
He is survived by his sons, Richard E. (Terry) Litman, Jr. and Val (Deborah) Winer both of Moundsville; a sister-in-
law Rosella (Ed) Lewis of Akron, OH; four grandchildren Valerie Hal, Val Winer, Jr. and Tracy Jones of
Moundsville, WV, and Carla (Garry) Figley of Iuka, MS; seven great-grandchildred Breeca Hall, Hunter Jones,
Tony Jones III, Kendra Smertneck, Brooke Figley, Lakyn Figley, and Chase Figley; and several nieces and
Nephews.
