Robert E. “Bob” Rhodes, 71, of Moundsville, WV, Died Tuesday, December 09, 2008 at Wheeling Medical
Park.
He was born April 6, 1937 in East Wheeling, OH, the son of the late Robert John Rhodes and Emma Minet Harris
Rhodes. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and a retired machinist for Allen Mitchell Co. of Washington DC. He
was a member of the Calvary United Methodist Church, Moundsville, WV.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years Sherry Lusk Rhodes of Moundsville, WV; three sons John Aaron Lusk
(Kristin) of Wheeling, WV, Norman (Miranda) Postle of Moundsville, WV, and Nathan (Beverly) Postle of Wheeling,
WV. He also had eight grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Green View Cemetery, Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Roberts Ridge,
Moundsville, WV, on Friday, December 12, 2008, at 2:00 PM. The Reverend Michael Brown will be officiating.

Johnny Wayne Childress, 56, of Second Street Moundsville, passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2008
at home in the presence of his loving companion, Glendene Burch.
Born in Tipton County, Tennessee on November 13 1952, Johnny was the son of Faith Eva Chambers Hoy
and Virgil Oliver Childress.
He was retired construction worker and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Surviving are two sons,Michael and Jeremy Childress of Tennessee; a brother, Phillip (Shirley) Childress of
Tennessee; two sisters, Jan Rogers and Sylvia Terry of Tennessee; one grandchild and several nieces and
nephews.
Services will be held by the family at a later date. Arrangements were handled by Care Funeral and Cremation
Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville,WV 26041.
