Joseph L. Byrne, 89, of Barnesville, OH, Formerly of Charleston, WV, passed away Sunday, February 1,
2009 at the Barnesville Health Care Center.

The family will hold services at a later date.

Arrangements are by CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV.
Steffi C. Schmidt, 85, of Seventh Street Moundsville, WV, Died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital.

She was born in Moundsville on April 22, 1923 to Karl and Estella Bednarski Schmidt.
She was a retired employee of Louis Marx Toy Plant in Glen Dale WV, And a member of St. Francis Xavier
Catholic Church, Moundsville WV.

Steffi was the surviving member of her family. In addition to her parents, Steffi was preceded in death by her
sister, Olga Ann Schmidt and husband Mike Clark. Her brothers, Carl and wife Anna Schmidt ;Edward Andrew
Two infant sisters, Anastasia and Michaslava Schmidt; One nephew Timothy William Clark; two nieces, Grayce
Tennant and Mary Ann Schmidt and one nephew in law, Donald David LeMasters.   

Steffi was generous, creative and stylish. She will be terribly missed by her surviving nieces and nephews, John
Michael Clark II with whom she resided, Daniel Clark, Christopher Clark, Brigitte Clark and Joe and wife Pat
Schmidt all of Moundsville; Samuel and wife Susan Clark of Bridgeport OH; Michele LeMasters of Martins Ferry
OH; Mike and wife Kathy Schmidt of Ashtabula OH; Diane and husband Mike Gavlinski of TN; Steve and wife Joan
Schmidt, Tony and wife Sherry Schmidt of VA; Teresa and husband Dave Greenlee of Fl; Carl and wife Annette
Schmidt of MT; and several great nieces and nephews

A time of Visitation will be held at the CARE Chapel 1500 Second Street Moundsville on Tuesday February 10,
2009 at 10am.The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11am Tuesday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic
Church with Rev. Terry Adams as celebrant.

Interment will follow in Mt.Rose Cemetery Moundsville.

In lieu of Flowers contributions can be made in memory of Steffi to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church 915 6th
Street, Moundsville WV, 26041, or to the Marshall County Animal Shelter 12th Street Moundsville.
Gladys M. Hewitt, 87, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday evening, February 9, 2009 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital.

Friends are invited to gather at CARE Chapel 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV, on Thursday, February 12,
2009 at 10:00 AM until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 AM.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family
