Cecil Eugene Walter, 86, of Warwood, WV, formerly of Elm Grove, died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at home.
Cecil was preceded in death by: a daughter Cindy Reynolds and a son Cecil E. Walter Jr.
He is survived by; His wife of 62 years Margaret (Bennett) Walter and 2 brothers Howard and Lester Walter.
He was the beloved father of; Peggy (Dennis) Dolfi of Wintersville, OH, and Patrick Walter of Elm Grove, WV.
He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II where he served with distinction.
Cecil was in business for over 40 years in Elm Grove, WV where he operated Elm Grove Auto Repair.
A luncheon will be held Wednesday, July 23, 2008 at the Elm Grove Eagles, all friends and family are invited to
attend.
Arrangements are entrusted to Care Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV.

Burkey, Robert Lindsey, 76, of Pleasant Valley, WV, went home to be with the lord Friday, July 11, 2008.
Robert was a member of the Pleasant Valley Community Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie R. (Ater) Burkey, his mother Rosa (Hill) Burkey, father Donald F.
Burkey, 3 brothers John, Donald and Arch Burkey, and 5 sisters Beatrice, Myrtle, Clara, Trixie, and Joanne.
He is survived by 3 sisters; Mary (Dale) Cunningham, Evelyn Williams and Rosie Clark.
He was the beloved father of 5 daughters; Rosemary (Robert) Conner, Robert was his son-in-law and best buddy,
Donna Lucas (Gary Debolt), Rhonda (Gary) Porter, Robin Baker and Joanne (Fred) Graham.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; R. Keith (Janet) Conner, Jessica (Vincent) Lemasters, Amanda Coulter,
Michael Logsdon, Stephanie Lucus, Leejay Porter, Joey Baker, Harleigh Graham and Frankie Graham.
The great-grandfather of 4; Cheyenne Connor, Caitlyn Connor, Danica Logsdon and Chelsea Lemasters and
several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted at the Limestone Cemetery with the Reverend Jim Jennings on Monday, July
14, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Arrangements entrusted to Care Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street,
Moundsville, WV.
