Glen Watson Burch, 66, of Powhatan Point, OH, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 05, 1942, in Preston County, WV, The son of the late Franklin Benjamin and Dessie Almigie
McNear Burch.
Glen was a former heavy equipment operator at the Harper’s Ferry Quarry, Baptist by faith, enjoyed fishing, wood
working and admired Harley Davidson motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Stiles.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Burch of Powhatan Point, OH; two daughters, Caroline (Larry) Bier of Powhatan
Point, OH. and Glendene Burch of Moundsville, WV; a sister Virginia Forman of Morgantown, WV, three grand-
daughters Anna (Lenny) Nice , Shaina (Charles Jr.) Holley both of Moundsville, WV And Dusty Durr of Kingwood,
WV; five great-grandchildren, Zachary Bier, Justin Bier, Halley Nice, Harley Wiles and Tony Wiles.
The family will be holding a private service at a later date. Arrangements are handled by Care Funeral and
Cremation Service 1500 Second Street, Moundsville. Condolences may be left online.
Delbert Joseph (Junior) Debolt Jr., 74, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009 at
Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Marshall County, WV, on April 30, 1934 the son of the late Delbert L. Debolt and Geneve Neely
Debolt. He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a Bronze Star recipient. He
was employed as a union insulator and worked out of local #24 before retiring. He enjoyed go-cart and
motorcycle racing during his free time. He was a Baptist by Faith.
Surviving are his wife of 50 years Janice F. Debolt of Moundsville; 5 sons, David (Tammy) Debolt of Moundsville;
Gary (Donna) Debolt, of Valley Grove, WV; Delbert (Linda K.) Debolt, of Moundsville; Frank (John) Debolt, of Elm
Grove, WV; and Eugene (Vickie) Debolt of Moundsville; 2 Daughters, Linda Debolt and Fayetta Debolt both of
Moundsville; a brother Sidney (Sandy) Debolt of Florida; a sister Betty (Kermit) Cox of Moundsville; 14
grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends.
A visitation will be held for friends and family on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 PM at CARE
Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV. The funeral service will be conducted on
Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the CARE Chapel.
Interment will be at Valley Brook Cemetery, Moundsville, WV where the VFW Honor Guard will perform military
graveside rites.
