Betty J. Ondeck Parsons  79, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Saturday, March 5th, 2011 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV..

She was born August 17, 1931 in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of  late Andrew and Faye Lewis Ondeck.

She was a formerly  employed in the home health field as a Nursing Assistant.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Parsons.

She is survived by two daughters, Fay and Debra Parsons both of Moundsville; a brother, Andrew Ondeck, Jr
of Wheeling, WV;  a sister, Jean Huntsman (Jack)  of Moundsville, WV and several nieces and nephews.

Per Betty’s request there will be no visitation.

Interment will be held at a later date at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling,WV.

Walter C. Arensberg "Buzz" 87, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011.

Walter was born April 22, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late John W. Arensberg and Florence
Arensburg.

He was a Christian by Faith.

Walter was the owner of Beltone Hearing Service in Wheeling, WV for 45 years.

He served in the United States Army in the WWII and Korea War.  

Tennis was his life's passion.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Craig Arensberg.

He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Arensberg of Wheeling, WV; two sons, Doug (Nancy L.)
Arensberg and Jeff Arensberg, both of Wheeling, WV; his sister, Helen Whitlock of Greer, S.C; seven
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In honoring Walter's wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at the convenience of the
family.

In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Walter C. Arensberg to the Salvation Army ;

Sylvia June Wood, 58 of Moundsville, WV passed away on March 9, 2011 at her home.

She was a Christian by Faith.

Sylvia enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time online chatting with friends, riding with Chick in the old Chevy
Truck, her Jigsaw puzzles and she also enjoyed collecting Angels.

She is preceded in death by her father, Meryl Wood and sister, Connie Young; also her grandson, Tyler
Austin Wood and several Aunts and Uncles.

She is survived by her mother, Opal Rutan Wood of Cameron, WV; husband, Charles "Chick" Wood of
Moundsville, WV; two sons, Charles "Noodle" Wood, Jr. of Moundsville, WV and Justin Ray Wood, Sr. of
Wheeling, WV; four daughters, Bonnie Sue Wood of Moundsville, WV, Brandy Jane Wood of Wheeling, WV,
Wendy Dunlap of Moundsville, WV and Mellisa Dunlap O'Donnell (J.P.) of Moundsville, WV.  She is also
survived by 5 brothers and 6 sisters; ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 13, 2011 from 11am to 1pm with the Service at 1pm at the CARE
Chapel, 1500 Second St., Moundsville, WV.

Glendene 'BooBaby' Anne Burch, 47 of Moundsville, WV passed away Thursday, March 10, 2011 at
her daughter's home in Morgantown.

She was born Sept. 21, 1963 in Ravenna, Ohio the daughter of the late Glen Watson Burch and Yvonne Sue
Banik.

She is preceded in death by her life-long companion Johnny "Memphis" Childress of Tennessee and her
father, Glen Burch of Ohio.

She is survived by her mother, Yvonne and husband Edward Banik of Florida; one daughter, Dusty Durr and
companion Lea Ann Dalton; two grandchildren, Harley and Tony Wiles of Morgantown; one sister, Caroline
and husband Larry Bier of Ohio; one brother, Paul Barker of Florida; two nieces, Anna Bier and husband
Lenny Nice of Moundsville, and Shaina Holley of Moundsville; two great-nephews, Zach and Justin Bier; and
one great-niece, Haley Nice of Moundsville.

Her daughter Dusty and companion Lea Ann would like to give a special thanks to Valley Hospice Liza's Place
in Wheeling, Morgantown Hospice Care, and especially to nurse Karen for her excellent care of Glendene.  A
special thanks to Barbara Dalton, Donna Haseleu and Beth Lewis for their compassion during Glendene's
illness.

There will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.

James “Pollock” Joseph Belcavitch 69, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at
Wheeling Hospital, Wheeling WV.

He was born February 14, 1942 in Old Forge PA.,, the son of  late Jacob and Stella Drzewiecki Belcavitch.

James was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. serving in the Vietnam War.

He  was a former carpenter and enjoyed pitching horse shoes.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by several sisters.

He is survived by two sons, Jeremy (Linda) Belcavitch of Marshfield, Missouri and Ryan Belcavitch of Elm
Grove, WV: several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per  Jame’ s  request there will be no visitation.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the V.F.W. of your choice.

Gene Loy Sr, 73, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Saturday, March 19th, 2011 at his residence in Wheeling,
WV.

He was born September 16, 1937 in Sherrard, WV., the son of the  late William Floyd and Margaret Elmira
McConnell Loy.

Gene was a former employee of Wheeling Machine Products, B+O Railroad where he served his
apprenticeship to be an electrician and an electrician at the Ohio Valley Medical Center.

He  was a member of the Independent Order of the Odd Fellows in Warwood, WV.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Carol Laubert Loy of Wheeling;  two sons, Robert (Valinda) Loy of
Fairmont, WV and Fritz Loy of Moundsville, WV; a daughter, Anne Loy of Martins Ferry, OH.; loving grand-
daughter, Mandy Loy of Moundsville, WV.;  a brother, William “Sonny” Loy of Sherrard, WV.; two sisters,
Eleanor Loy and Lois Loy Archey both of Sherrard, WV.

Per  Gene’s  request there will be no visitation, and a service will be held at a later date.

Sidney Pozell, 74 of Proctor, WV, passed away on March 23, 2011 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.  
                             
Sidney was born on August 4, 1936 in Cresap, WV.  He was the son of Lawrence Pozell, Sr. and Regina
(Baccaro) Pozell.

Sidney was a retired Pipefitter with having served over 40 years with Local 166.

He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren and favorite dog, Tori.   
                                                                       
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 27 years, Lillian Pozell; three
brothers, Joseph, Bernie and Johnny Pozell; and three sisters, Lucille, Diana, and Cathleen.

Sidney is survived by daughter, Kristen (Alvin) Stoneking of Proctor, WV; son, Kevin (Samantha) Pozell of
Proctor, WV; daughter, Darla (Dave) Jackson of Indiana; daughter, Lisa (Bob) Schultz of Columbus, Ohio; two
brothers, Larry (Nellie) Pozell of Moundsville, WV and  Charlie Pozell of Glen Dale, WV; one sister, Angie
(George) Pozell-Stankas of Enon, Ohio; three grandchildren, Zack, Jenny and Josh.
            
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 from 11am until the time of service at 1pm at the CARE
Chapel.

Interment to follow services will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Wheeling, WV.
