King, Margaret E., 88 of Fork Ridge, Moundsville, WV entered into eternal rest May 3, 2011.
She was born on September 14, 1922. She graduated from Tanner High School in Tanner, WV.
Margaret had strong faith and served her life as a Christian woman. Her life was devoted to being a wonderful
Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend.
For many years she was a member of the Moundsville Baptist Church. She also loved being a member of the
Order of Eastern Stars #86 at which one time she served as an Officer. Also, much devotion and effort was
given by her to the Order of Rainbow for Girls as serving as Mother Advisor for Assembly #45. Other activities
included being a member of her Tops Group where she had many friends that were so special to her.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert of 62 years; her parents, Naomi and Sanford E.
Deem; three sisters, Betty Ebner, Frances Ecksmith, and Noretta Everett. .
She is survived by two daughters, Sharon Ann Och (husband John (Jack) of Fork Ridge, Pam Miller (husband
Drew) of Wheeling and one son, Gilbert A. King, Jr. (wife Patricia) of Glen Dale; three brothers, Earl Deem of
Waynesburg, Ohio, Bill Deem (wife Vea) of Canton, Ohio and Bob Deem of Arizona; seven grandchildren, John
Och (wife Shelly), Jeff Och (wife Dana), Jason Och (wife Teresa), Keith King (wife Betsy), Cindy Petrini
(husband Dave), Kevin King (wife Christine) and Nick Alissandratos; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-9pm with an Eastern Star Service at
6pm at the CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011 at 11am at the CARE Chapel, with Rev. J. Thomas Steele of
the Moundsville Baptist Church officiating.

Donna Ann White,61 of Magnolia Avenue, Moundsville, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2011 at home.
She was born July 3, 1949 in Brookline, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Thomas Felone and Mary
Kanopka Felone.
She was Catholic by faith.
Donna was a homemaker who loved her grandchildren and spent as much time with them as possible.
She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd White, of 41 years in May 2010.
She is survived by a daughter Dorothy (Dave) Hill of Moundsville; and 2 her two grandsons, Kyle & Tyler of
Moundsville.
Services will be at the convenience of the family.

She was born March 31,1919. in Elk, Wisconsin the daughter of the late Vendo Kopyar and BJeto Hasek.

Raymond L. Weaver, 82 of Follansbee, WV, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011.
He was born August 5, 1928.
He was retired from Picoma Ind. in Martins Ferry, Ohio after 30 years of service.
Raymond was in the U.S. Army where he served in the Korean Conflict.
He loved horseback- riding, golf, rabbit hunting, working on cars, body, automotive and painting.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Alice Payne Weaver; two sons, Robert Lee and Steven Clarence Weaver; one brother and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mowder Weaver of Follansbee, WV; two sons, Ronald Weaver of Martins Ferry, Ohio and Kenneth (Cheryl) Weaver of Colerain, Ohio; one daughter, Linda Thomas of Follansbee, WV; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Stanley M. Owoc, Jr., 81 of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, May 16, 2011.
He was born January 6, 1930 in Wheeling, WV, son of the late Stanley M. Owoc, Sr. and Mary Lapituk.
He was a Christian by faith.
Stanley was a Steelworker at Ohio Ferro Alloy in Clarington, Ohio and Barber/Owner of Stan's Barber Shop in
south Wheeling for over 40 years.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran, where he proudly served in Korea and was decorated with a Korean Service Metal,
three Bronze Stars, and the Over Seas Bar.
Stan was an avid Steeler Fan and Pirate Fan. He loved to cook, enjoyed the game of golf, loved gardening,
animals, Jazz, Big Band and Polka Music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Emil and Leo Owoc and Walter Maweski;
two sisters, Jane Witkowski and Florence Cappicci.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Naomi Wilson Owoc, of Moundsville; two sons, Michael (Harriett
Faye) Owoc of Harrisville, WV and Steve Owoc (Laura Stewart) of Bethlehem, WV; one sister, Mary Goedell of
Wheeling, WV; one grand-daughter, Gia Nicole Romesburg of Parkersburg, WV; and several nieces and
nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Stanley Owoc, Jr. may be expressed to the Marshall County
Animal Shelter at 37 Animal Shelter Dr., Moundsville, WV 26041.
Private services were held and entrusted to CARE Funeral and Cremation Services, 1500 Second St.,
Moundsville.

Carmen Joy (Haught) Condit, 72 of Moundsville, WV, passed away on May 23, 2011 of a sudden heart
attack.
Joy was born on January 30, 1939 in Piney, WV. She was the daughter of Jesse Lee Haught and Della Mae
(Davis) Haught.
Joy was a homemaker.
She enjoyed woodworking, music, movies and playing games with her family & friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Guy Haught & Terry Lee Haught and
two sisters, May Haught & Gay Hennen.
Carmen is survived by her husband, Lowell "Eddie" Condit; four children, Joyce (Eddie) Stewart of Fairmont,
WV, Perry (Beth) Condit of Ray, Oh, John Condit of Moundsville, WV and Kathy (Dick) Hockenberry of
Wadestown, WV; a brother, Lloyd (Jane) Haught of Middlebourne, WV; three sisters, Reva Shanholtzer, Ruth
Etta Staley both of Reader, WV and Faye Webb of Spencer, WV; nine grandchildren, Michael Stewart,
Amanda Danko, Nathan Stewart, Tanya Condit, Whitney Condit, Ross Condit, Valerie Condit, Tayla Thomforde
and Cody Hockenberry; four great-grandchildren, Kaden Condit, Cohen Stewart, Astaire Thomforde and
George Danko.
As per Joy's request there will be no visitation at CARE Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held June
4th at 2pm at the Wesley Park Community Building, Moundsville, WV.

Drake, Myrtle Edith West Richmond 89, of Little Hocking, Ohio, formerly of Moundsville, WV passed
away Wednesday, May 25, 2011.
She was born December 27, 1921 to Arthur Curtis West and Florence Addaline Lemons-West.
She was an associate member of the Amazing Grace Community Church in Tupper's Plains, Ohio and a life
time member of the First Christian Church in Moundsville, WV.
She enjoyed word search books, playing cards and Dominos.
She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Eugene "PI" Drake; a brother,
James West; and two sisters, Ethel Howard and Lena O'Brien.
She is survived by her son, Ronald (Patricia) Richmond of Little Hocking, Ohio and several step-children; a
brother, Raymond (Bea) West of Moundsville, WV; two grandchildren, Rick (Sue) Richmond of Moundsville, WV
and Denise (Karl) Penz of Wheeling, WV; several step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several
step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-step-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 27th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday, May 28th from 10:00 am to
11:00 am with a Service to start at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Wayne Dunlap officiating at the CARE Chapel.
Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Moundsville.

Haught, Francis A. "Bud", 80, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2011.
He was born November 21, 1930 in Belton, WV, to the late William M. Haught and Samantha A. Tuttle.
He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and was retired from Weirton Steel.
He was Christian by Faith.
He loved the outdoors and working on his trucks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Rhett Douglas Haught; two brothers, Earl and Ernie Haught;
four sisters, Ethel West, Mary Turnbull, Fern Hart and Blanche Chambers.
He is survived his wife, Carol Haught of Moundsville, the love of his life and best friend; one daughter,
Samantha Haught of Moundsville, WV; one son, Kevin M. Haught (Darlene) of Weirton, WV; two
step-daughters which he loved as his own, Melissa Bliefus of Moundsville, WV and Krystal (Matt) Leach of
Warren, PA.; one daughter-in-law, Allison Haught of Weirton, WV; eight grandchildren, Heather, Ashley,
Rhett, Cameron, Luka, Tristan, Emily and Tony; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will Thursday, June 2, 2011 from 2pm to 8pm at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500
Second Street, Moundsville, WV.
Funeral Services will be Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11am at the CARE Chapel with Pastor Jeff Hancock of the
Ash Avenue Church of God officiating.
VFW Honor Guard will hold Military Services.
Interment will follow at Big Run Cemetery in Cameron, WV.
