James “Sonny” A. Boggs, 65. of Roseby’s Rock, Moundsville, lost his battle with cancer on Sunday, October
5, 2008 at his home.
Sonny was born December 8, 1942 the son of the late William Addison Boggs and Vera Ellen (Bender) Boggs.
He was retired from Venco / Conoco where he was a production foreman.
He is survived by his Wife of 43+ years Deborrah E. (Thomas) Boggs, their children James Addison (Sally) Boggs,
and Debra Jane (Charles) Kolinski all of Moundsville; 5 Sisters, Lenora Beckett of Cowen, WV; Josephine
(Charles) Hoover of Cowen, WV; Ernestine (Mike) Thomas of Craigsville, WV; Billie (James) Morrison of
Moundsville; and Barbara (Jeffery) Beckett; 1 Brother Conley (Edna) Boggs of Paden City, WV; 3 Grandchildren,
James (Jamie) A. Boggs; Kelsey J. Kolinski; and Jace A. Boggs; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and
great-nephews.
There will be visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and from 6-8 PM at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500
Second Street, Moundsville, WV. Funeral Services will be held at the CARE Chapel on Wednesday, October 8,
2008 at 1:00 PM with the Reverend Burl Jernigan officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of James Boggs to: The American Cancer Society, 122
South High Street, Morgantown, WV, 26501.
Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
John “Bill” William Hazlett, 84, of Dallas, WV, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Wheeling Medical
Park.
He was born October 15, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA., He was the son of the late William and Nell Ewing Hazlett. John
was retired from the B&O Railroad where he worked on track maintenance, a Christian by faith, enjoyed fox
hunting and playing Euchre.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Zuleika Caldwell Hazlett and his sister Patsy Hazlett Dague.
Survivors include a niece, Harriet (Butch) Riggle of Valley Grove, WV, a nephew, Freddie Bill Dague of Valley
Grove, WV, cousins, Fred Hazlett, Sue Hazlett Langmyer and Lou Hazlett Hanlin all of Wheeling, WV, Jamie
Hazlett Henry of Huntington, WV, and several grand nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Sunday, October 12, from 5-8 pm at the Care chapel 1500 Second Street Moundsville, WV.
Graveside services will be held 11am Monday October, 13, at Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, WV, with Reverend
Debbie Dague officiating.
Following the graveside services there will be a luncheon at the Dallas Community Building., Dallas, WV.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Dallas Volunteer Fire Department, Dallas, WV 26036.

Eula L. Muldrew, 83 of Moundsville passed away Sunday, October 12,2008 at her home.
She was born August 24,1925 in Bealsville OH, the daughter of the late Carl Louden and Leota Moore Louden.
Eula was retired from Fostoria Glass where she had more than 45 years service. One of her many positions while
employed with the Fostoria as a skilled laborer was the etching of glass. She was a Cristian by faith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her Husband, Michael R. Muldrew Sr. Two brothers, Ray
Louden and Ralph Louden, two sisters, Erva Safreed and Eva Louden.
Eula is survived by a son Michael R. Muldrew Jr. of Moundsville WV, and a brother Bernard Louden of Glen Dale
WV.
No public services are planned at this time.

Margaret Wilson, 71 of 5th Street, Moundsville, WV died Tuesday, October 14, 2008 at her home.
Margaret was born April 27, 1938 in Moundsville the daughter of the late Joseph Ward Hartley and Minnie V.
Wiedebusch; She was an active member of the Calvary United Methodist Church and participated annually in the
Community-Wide Thanksgiving Dinner sponsored by the church; She received a Bachelor of Science degree in
education and worked in secondary education; She was a “fantastic” cook and a strong member of the John
Marshall Boosters.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years William D. Wilson; a Son Rich (Tricia) Wilson of Moundsville; a
Daughter Dina (David) Youtz of Alexandria, VA; two beloved grandsons Ryan and Gage Wilson of Moundsville;
one Sister June (Bill) McCain of Moundsville; two Nieces Ellen Moore of Moundsville and Tina (David) Barryessa
of Sawyer, MI; and one Nephew Joseph McCain of Moundsville.
Family will receive friends at 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October
16th at the Calvary United Methodist Church, 1601 First Street, Moundsville, WV with the Reverend Brown
officiating.

Caroline Doris Litman, 78, of Big Grave Creek, Moundsville, W.V., passed away on Wednesday, October 15,
2008, at her home.
Caroline was born September 30, 1930 the daughter of the late Morris Winer and Wilma Winer.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Litman Sr., of Moundsville; two sons, Val(Deborah) Winer;
Richard(Terry) Litman Jr., all of Moundsville; one Sister,Rosella (Ed) Lewis, of Akron O.H.; four Grandchildren,
Valerie Hal; Val Winer Jr.; Tracy Jones, all of Moundsville W.V.; Carla(Garry) Figley of Saraland, A.L.; seven
Great Grandchildren; Breeca Hall; Hunter Jones; Tony Jones III; of Moundsville W.V. Kendra Smertneck; Brooke
Figley; Lakyn Figley; and Chase Figley all of Saraland, A.L.; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be visitation on Friday, October 17th , from 3-5 and 6-8 pm., at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service,
1500 Second Street, Moundsville, W.V. Funeral Services will be held at the CARE Chapel on Saturday, October
18th at 11am with the Pastor Paul Smith officiating.
Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fork Ridge, Moundsville, W.V. following the service.

Irma Gail Horner, Age 77 of Moundsville, WV passed away on Sunday October 19, 2008. Mrs. Horner was a
loving mother, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born in Moundsville, WV on June 21,
1931 the daughter of the late William and Jessie Stiles. She took an active role in the family business: The
Moundsville Roller Rink where she came to be well known and respected. She was an avid genealogical
researcher and traced the family roots back to the 1600¢s with the help of her sister Eleanor. She was an active
member of the Church of Christ. She was devoted to her grandchildren and great grandchildren and she will be
greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband and Army veteran, Charles Horner and brother Edward Stiles. Family
members include her daughters: Diana Williamson, Cynthia Kinder, Karen Stewart, all of Moundsville, WV and
Shari Murnane of West Palm Beach, FL; She is also survived by her sister, Eleanor Baker of Moundsville WV;
Eleven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 21, from 6-9 pm and Wednesday, October 22, from 12-1pm at the Care
chapel 1500 Second Street Moundsville, WV. Funeral Services will be held at the CARE Chapel on Wednesday,
October 22 at 1pm with Minister Brian Price officiating.
Interment will be at Halcyon Hills Cemetery, Sherrard, WV
