Loretta Blanche Gump, 90, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Friday, October 02, 2009 at Reynolds
Memorial Hospital.
She was born on May 19, 1919 in Jacksonburg, Wetzel Co., WV the daughter of the late Clyde and Margaret Ann
(Starkey) Haught.
Loretta was Baptist by faith. She was a proud homemaker and raised a very large family. She was a gardener
and an accomplished musician who played the guitar, fiddle, piano, violin and mouth harp. She very much loved
her animals and her children.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Orval Paul Gump; her
companion of 35 years Thomas L. Black; a son Gordon W. Gump; a grandson Gary Wayne Gump; an infant
grandson Matthew Michael Hall; a granddaughter P. J. Lightner; and an infant granddaughter Alexa Clark.
She is survived by her daughter June (Bob) Trayon of Moundsville; a daughter Maxine Webb of Moundsville; a
son Clyde “Buster” (Shirley) Gump of Moundsville; a daughter Patsy Clark of Moundsville; a daughter Helen
“Bugsie” Wood and her boyfriend Tom Stanley of Moundsville; a daughter Sue (Charlie) Wood of Rosby’s Rock; a
son Clark Gump and his companion Ann Connor of Rosby’s Rock; a daughter Gwen Ramirez of GA; a daughter
Evalalah “Eige” (Bill) Wood of Moundsville; 29 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-
grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received on Sunday, October 4, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 4:00 p.
m. at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV. Pastor Eddie Wills and Pastor
Paul Smith will officiate.
Interment will be at Loman Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Street, Moundsville, WV 26041.

Debora Lynn Shreve, 50, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away Friday, October 9, 2009 at home.
She was born October 17, 1958 in Glen Dale, WV.
Debora was a former nurses aid and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Wayne Joseph Rogers.
Surving are her mother, Nancy Iva (Anderson) Rogers of Bellaire, OH; her former husband, Jerry
Shreve of Maryland: three daughters, Tonya (Robert) Yoho of Moundsville, Teresa (Bill) Lemasters of
Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Jerrilynn (Wayne) Carter of Moundsville; three brothers, Kevin Rogers of
Portsmith, Ohio, Brian (Jeanie) Rogers of Shadyside, Ohio and Tony Amos; a sister, Teresa Boley of
Moundsville; Twelve grandchildren, Brandon McCort, Gage Yoho, Tristan Yoho, Alyssa Yoho, Jayden
Yoho, Logen Lemasters, Tre Lemasters, Kimberly Lemasters, Johnathon Carter, Madison Carter, Tyler
Carter and Savannah Carter: several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2009 from 4 PM to 6 PM at CARE Funeral &
Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV.
A bereavement dinner will be held Immediately following the visitation at The Valley Inn, Dilles Bottom,Ohio.

Lottie Gae Mellott Woodburn, 77, of Elyria, OH. passed away Thursday, October 29,
2009 at Life Care Center, OH.
She was born September 5, 1932 in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of the late
James and Mary Frazier Mellott.
In addition to her parents, Lottie was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Woodburn; two sisters, Nancy
Feenerty and Patty Lou Mellott; three brothers, Jimmy, Joey and Marvin Mellott.
Lottie enjoyed many activities such as; fishing, watching the Steelers and Cleveland Indians, crossword puzzles,
gardening and camping.
She was a member of the Holiday Hobos RV Club. She worked as a health care surrogate for many families, and
was of the Baptist Faith.
Survivors include three sons, James J. Woodburn , Richard A. (Amy J.) Woodburn
And David A. Woodburn all of Elyria, OH; a daughter, Tonia G. Aldrich Woodburn. Three sisters, Frances Cichon
of Glen Dale WV, Ottie Mae Howard of DeLand FL and Anna Dolan of Moundsville, WV.: five Grandchildren; three
Great Grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received Monday, November 2 from 5-7 p.m. at the CARE Chapel 1500 Second Street,
Moundsville, WV.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 3, at 11 a.m. at the CARE Chapel with Pastor Raymond A. Yoho
officiating.
Interment following at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
