Rosemary E. Hawkey, 78, of New Martinsville,WV, flew away with the angels September 9th, to sing in her
heavenly home.  Rosemary had resided at the New Martinsville towers.                                                

Rosemary was the daughter of the late Chester and Emma(Mayhugh)Doty.  She was born October 17, 1929 in
Moundsville W.V.  She was a part time clerk at A.C. Duerr and Sons Jewelers in New Martinsville.  Rosemary was
a wonderfull singer and  an accomplished guitar player.  She was a member of the St. Joseph Settlement Catholic
Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her late husband Charles”Bud” Hawkey,two sisters,
Gloria Goudy and Francis Loy and seven brothers,Royal, Loyal, Richard, Kenneth, Robert, Larry and Harold
Doty. She is survived by a son Rex Hawkey from Jerusalem,OH., Four daughters, Cindy(Todd)Bates of New
Martinsville,WV., Jodi Forrester of Rivesville, WV., Julie Hawkey of Proctor and Carla(Dick)Cook of Moundsville,
WV., a special “daughter” Shelia Hawkey of Pinella’s Park FL. a sister, Mary Kay Wade of Sistersville,WV., Also
Laura May Shreves, Rosemary’s caregiver, whom in Rosemary’s last days gave her warm and loving care that
turned into a wonderful friendship.        

Rosemary has eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren who she loved dearly.

Visitation will be held at Care Chapel from 6-9 PM Friday September 12th. Funeral services will be on Saturday,
at 11am. with Rev. J. Stephen Vallelonga officiating.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery Proctor,WV.

Lila Kay Burge Neely 67,of Cameron,WV, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 in Ohio Valley Medical Center,
Wheeling,WV after a long battle with lung cancer.

She was born October 8, 1940 in Rosby’s Rock, WV.

She worked a the Marx Toy plant, U.S. Stamping, Moundsville mushroom mines, Cameron continous care center,
Elite glass company and was foster parenting at the time of her death. Lila was a Baptist by faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Clifford Burge and Florence Beryl “Conner” Burge, infant son:
Earl Wayne Burge, three brothers: Clifford Ferl, Clyde Berl, andJohn Wilburt Burge, Three bother-in-laws;
Clarence “booty” Miller, Bob Padgett and Chester Huggins, and a nephew; Clyde “squeak” Burge.

Survivors include a Son; Danny (Melanie) Burge of Jackson MI., daughter; Sharon (Tim) Brown of Reynoldsburg
OH., Andrew, Miranda, Timmy, and Scott all at home, five sisters; Irene Dale Miller of  Moundsville,WV. , Helen
Grace Huggins of  Cameron,WV., Sharon Faye (Rafael) Herrera of Mineral Wells,TX.,Suzie Padgett of  Ann Arbor,
Michigan and,Mylene Andrea Collins of Jerusalem,OH., four grandchildren: Tobias and Tucker Brown, DaniKay
and Trevor Burge and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Family condolences may be sent to

Alice Jean (Tippner) Simmons, 65, of  Moundsville, WV, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at home
surrounded by family.

Alice was the daughter of the late Fred Tippner and Mabel (Smith) Tippner Guthrie.  She was born September 22,
1943 in Farmington WV.  She was retired from Kroger in Moundsville, were she had been employed as an Office
Assistant.  Alice loved to play bingo, adored her family, her friends, and her pet poodles.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a beloved Grandson Andrew Michael Goodrich.

She is survived by her Husband of 48 years Colin D. Simmons of Moundsville, her Step-Father Allen Guthrie of
Moundsville, 2 Daughters Tina (John) Marking and Cheryl (Eric) Richardson both of Moundsville, a Son James
Douglas (Shannon) Simmons of Virginia Beach, VA, a Sister Patty McCulloch of Tampa, FL, a Brother Butch T.
(Jeannie) Tippner of Charleston, WV, 5 Grandchildren Kara (Matt) Farrell and Justin Marking of Moundsville,
Douglas Simmons, Deidre Simmons and Daniel Simmons of Virginia Beach, VA, and 1 Great-Grandson Hunter
Farrell of Moundsville.

Visitation will be held at the Care Chapel, from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM Friday, September 26, and from 10 AM until
the 1 PM funeral service on Saturday, September 27, 2008.

Interment will be at Halcyon Hills Cemetery, Sherrard, WV with minister D. Gene West officiating.

Debra Jean (Lutz) Walker, 52, of Cameron WV died Friday, September 26, 2008 at Reynolds Memorial
Hospital in Glen Dale.
               
Debra was the daughter of the late Michael Smith and Mary (Gomez) Lutz.  She was born May 31, 1956 in
Claysville PA.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers, Manuel Gomez and Steve Gomez; 1 Sister,
Barbara Ann Rue; and her beloved grandmother “Ma” Gomez.

She is survived by her Husband of 35 years Ronnie Walker of Cameron; a Daughter Enjol (William) Lively of
Clarington, OH; a Sister Michelle (Shawn) Ray of Avella, PA; 2 Brothers, Danny (Denise) Lutz of Claysville, PA,
and Jose Gomez of Washington, PA; 5 Grandchildren, Faith Grimm, Hope Grimm and Charity Lively of Clarington,
OH; Karlie Walker and Ellen Fritzman of Moundsville; a special Brother and Sister-in-Law, Jack (Jan) Walker of
Florida; several Nieces and Nephews.
       
A memorial service will be held at the Care Chapel at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2008, with the
Reverend John H. Flynn officiating.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
