Phyllis I. Zien, 81, of Irish Ridge, Cameron, WV, Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at
Reynolds Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 11, 1928 in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of the late Roy Wilkerson and Carrie Baker
Wilkerson.
She and her husband Bill were the former owners of the Rendezvous Restaurant. A fantastic cook, Phyllis was
famous for her pirogues.
She enjoyed playing Bunco, listening to music, and organic gardening. Her hobby was collecting frog figurines.
Phyllis was a member and a former Queen of T.O.P.S. #165.
She attended Wolf Run Presbyterian Church.
She was very grateful for all her wonderful friends and neighbors.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Bill Zien and a brother Harold
Wilkerson.
Phyllis is survived by a daughter Jeanne Bonar of Virginia Beach, VA; a son Jerry (Kathleen) Zien of Cameron,
WV; 3 grandsons, Aaron Bonar, Patrick Bonar and Josh Zien (Wanda); and 1 great-grandson Joshua Gage Zien.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, September 18, 2009 for a visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. and
continuing until the time of services at 1:00 p.m. at Care Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street,
Moundsville, WV. The Pastor Cindy Foster will officiate.
Interment will follow at Wolf Run Cemetery, Marshall Co., WV.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to the Wolf Run Presbyterian Church, RR#4 Box 56
Cameron, WV 26033.

Beverly Kay (Neehouse) Strope, 64, of Moundsville, WV, passed away peacefully at Moundview Health
Care Center on Saturday, September 26, 2009.
She was born January 5, 1945 in Moundsville WV the daughter of the late William W. Neehouse and Mildred V.
Maxwell Neehouse.
She had worked for Coleman’s Fish Market in Wheeling, WV. In her free time she enjoyed gardening and working
puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Douglas Lee Strope.
She is survived by two sons, Russell William Strope and his wife Connie and Craig Daniel Strope and his girlfriend
Danyel; a daughter-in-law Donna Strope; two grandchildren Andrea and Hannah; and a brother Leo Neehouse
and his wife Barb.
The family will hold a memorial service to celebrate Beverly’s life on October 17, 2009 at the Wolf Run
Presbyterian Church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Paul Smith and Pastor Cindy Foster will officiate

Barbara A. Smith, 67, of Moundsville passed away Saturday, September 26,2009 in Ruby Memorial Hospital,
Morgantown, W.V.
She was born April 4, 1942 in Moundsville, W.V. She was a loving mother and caretaker of her autistic son, Brian.
She is survived by her husband, Harold Smith, of Moundsville; One son, Brian York of Glen Dale; Two brother -in-
laws, Leonard (Mary Ann) Smith of Shadyside, O.H.; Paul (Janice) Smith of Shadyside, O.H.; and several nephews.
Visitation for Barbara will be Tuesday, September 29,2009 from 2-5 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service,
1500 Second Street Moundsville, W.V.
Funeral Services will be held in the CARE Chapel Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at 11 am with Pastor Paul
Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, O.H.
