Jerry William Zien, 60, of Irish Ridge, Cameron, passed away Saturday, April 22, 2017, at his residence.

Jerry was born March 16, 1957, in Glen Dale, WV, the son of the late William “Bill” and Phyllis (Wilkerson) Zien.

He was a Catholic by faith, heavy equipment operator for several pipeline companies, he loved his affiliation with the pipelines. Jerry was an avid fisher & hunter and loved spending time with his family and adored his grandson, Gage and his dog Latte.

In addition to her parents, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Michael Zien and his maternal grandmother, Carrie Winland.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of over 42 years, Kathleen E. (Bonar) Zien of Cameron; son, Josh Zien of Cameron; sister, Jeanne (Bonar) Zien of Virginia Beach, VA; grandson, Gage Zien; two uncles, Andy (Mildred) Zien of Las Vegas, NV and Walter (Delores) Zien of Wheeling, Aunt, Kush Sadaly of Moundsville and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will receive Friday, April 28, 2017, from 11 am until the time of services at 2 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, WV with Pastor CJ Plogger officiating.

Interment will follow at Wolf Run Cemetery, Cameron.
