William Paul "Bill" South, Sr.

William “Bill” Paul South Sr., 76, of Moundsville, WV passed away Sunday, May 21, 2017, at his residence.
Bill was born February 24, 1941 in Glen Dale, WV, son of the late Herbert Burdette and Nellie Pearl (West) South.
He formerly attended Trinity Baptist Church and was a former employee of the Green Tab, where he worked as a driver and also in Circulation.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Thomas South and son, Steven South.
Bill is survived by his wife of 41 years, Norma (Ledbetter) South of Moundsville; three sons. William P. South Jr. (Cindy) of Moundsville, Kevin (Sherry) South of Acworth, GA and Rodney (Debbie) South of Wheeling, WV; two sisters, Nellie Carol Shipley of Savannah, GA and Doris Jean (Rick) Ford of Randolph, NY; two brothers, Herbert “ Norman” South of Clarksville, TN and Richard South of Moundsville; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and several nieces& nephews.
Friends will be received Thursday, May 25, 2017, from 10 am until the time of services at 11 am at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, with William P. South Jr. & Kevin South officiating.
Interment will follow at a later date at Fairview Cemetery, Moundsville.
