Shelia and I were friends from Middle School on. Shelia was an extraordinary person ... really, not like the rest of us. She had a free, generous spirit. She looked for the best in people, and saw their pain and tried to bring them out of it, into a better place that they didn't even know they were capable of! I could write a book of good memories! I know she's somewhere much better, but how I wish she were here to pick up the phone and call!

I will always have a place in my heart for Miss Betty. She dearly loved my husband, and granddaughters. I use to work at Mound View and my husband volunteered. He would polish her nails and made sure, when he could, she had her chips. She would always ask me how my girls were doing. I know they are going to miss her also, they were younger than. So Miss Betty, fly high till we meet again...

I will always have fond memories of Betty - she was also so kind to me and I enjoyed the times I spent with her. I loved the way she looked when she talked about Peggy and Brian. She loved her kids with all of her heart. I will remember her always as someone who had a smile on her face and a hug for me whenever she saw me. (Which was often!) Much love to my Goober, Brian and your family today and always.

I met Roger when he came back from the service. We spent alot of time together in the late 70's. He was such a fun guy to be around and was always good to me. But he was so ornery, I could tell you all a few stories. But one I remember and it wasn't with me. But when he was still in school, my uncle was his bus driver and it was hunting season and Roger wanted to go hunting, but he had school. So he would get in trouble on the bus so my uncle would throw him off for a couple of days so he could hunt. When I think of Roger I always get a smile. I wish we could've stayed in touch with each other, but I went to work out of the area. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I hope you all find peace and comfort in this difficult time.

Casey and Mark, Very sorry about your father. Along with your mom, your father was my favorite pair of parents since I first met them in 1974 . From when I coached Mark in Little League baseball, to their faithful attendance when Casey's daughters played youth softball, and finally at the holiday picnics at their niece Susan's house, it was always a pleasure to see them. Harry was definitely what a father and grandfather should be (and I probably should add great grandfather). My thoughts and sympathy go out to all of his family and many friends. He made this small part of the world a better place.

I sit here and think of all the time we sat and all the times we talked. Days burned off and stories told. Many days a sun set on that hill. Our friendship grew deep and the years passed. Some days I would drive by and could not stop but as always I yelled hey Ray and wave . You always knew it was me even when you couldn’t see. You were always full of BS but no lies we ever told. Must be why I always called you by your real name. Some things you never really understand. We shared many stories. Some we laughed some brought me to tears. But in the end and the sun would be going down , it was time to go back to my family. The sun goes down tomorrow and I will remember one more conversation we had. Then it’s time for you to go home.

Growing up I spent more time thinking that older sisters of my friends were somewhat bossy and annoying but as an adult I had the honor of getting to know at least one older sister better and in a different setting. Vickie had, in recent years, become part of my circle of family that spent some time each year gathering for a week at the beach. It this setting I came to know vickie as a funny, light hearted person who enjoyed life no matter what. My memories of vickie will include her spending hours being our bar tender for margaritas after she found the perfect recipe and shopped in several stores in a day just to find the correct ingredients. I will also remember the year that Vickie gave us all a big scare at the beach by being rushed by ambulance in the middle of a marathon in the town on the morning we were packing to leave. Although she gave us all a scare that day her account of being transported from the small hospital to the large hospital in the back of the ambulance made us all laugh a great deal. I am so glad that not more that 2 months ago we all gathered again at the beach and had tons of fun, made great memories, laughed at Vickie's best Halloween costume EVER and that Vickie found the hat of her dreams. It looked so cute on her! And to John we are all so sorry at the vast space left in your life by Vickie's departure, but know that she was loved and that you will also be surround by love and friendship in this time. We are family and we will carry on with you through the tears and sorrow and always remember Vickie's zest for life, laughter, and happiness.

Jordan , Cody , Mr &Mes Collums , Chad and family . There are no words that I can say or write to take the deep ache of your broken heart in losing Cindi . My heart is breaking with the loss of your Mom , Daughter and Sister . Our friendship was new , it did not take long tho for me to realize just how special Cindi was and our friendship would be . Cindi would be very frank with me in saying that I just had too much crap , then turn and smile . What a beautiful smile , I will miss her Greatly . She was selfless in helping me , when she learned of my accident , she had a wonderful heart. We both loved animals and shared our compassion for the stray cats in our neighborhood. She took in Max ( one of the strays , I have named all of them ) I was thrilled. I told Cindi the she and Max was the first sucess story with my wanting to find forever homes for them . On Tuesday she spent the most part of the day at my home .We had a great time between cups of tea and eating my granddaughter 's favorite cookies , Oreo thins . With a lot of laughter , we were looking forward to many more times together and our friendship . I thank GOD for bringing her into my life . She was very helpful as one would expect from a retired Cpt. Nurse in the Army . Her compassion and friendship will be greatly missed . Mr & Mrs Collums and family , you have a wonderful , special daughter , sister , mother . GOD BLESS you , know that HE is with you and walks with you . Jordan and Cody , your Mom is a Hero for her country and in life . As difficult as it is today , let your memories of her comfort you as you go through life . With your times spent together, the memory of her smile , her voice , her love . With love and support, I pray for GODS grace , his love and compassion for you and your family . Please accept my deepest heart felt condolences in this time .

I had only met Mr Rich a few times. He seemed to be a very down to earth person to me. If his son Joe is any indication of his values and devotion to family he will missed by all who knew him well. Joe is married to my sister Sharon and is always there to lend a helping hand when needed. May God bless Mr Rich's family.

His smile and warm heart will forever be with us. I can't really define one memory because there are too many great times to define just one.. He didn't have to do anything special or different to remember, he was just a cheerful presence.

Psalm 23 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
