 Lois J Jarvis, 93, of East Liverpool, OH passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at East Liverpool City Hospital.  Lois was born on December 13, 1927, in McClellandtown, PA, a daughter of Reverend Carl O. Bailey and Ethel G. Brown Bailey.

Lois graduated from Ramsey High School in Mt. Pleasant, PA with the Class of 1945.  As a young adult, Lois moved to East Liverpool and has lived here for the majority of her life.  She was employed as a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward and attended the First Free Methodist Church in East Liverpool.  Lois married Arden Jarvis on September 15, 1947.  Lois and Arden spent 62 years together, until his death on December 12, 2009.

Lois is survived by two nephews, Tim (Linda Benedict) Benedict, of Pittsburgh, PA and John Benedict, of Shaler Township, PA

Along with her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by her sister, Fay Benedict, two brothers, William and Carl Bailey, and her nephew, Mark Benedict.

Visitation will be held from 2PM-3PM on Monday, February 15, 2021 at CARE Funeral & Cremation Specialists- Martin Chapel, 15872 St Clair Avenue, Calcutta.  The funeral will follow at 3PM with Pastor David Quillen from The First Free Methodist Church in East Liverpool officiating.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

In compliance with Ohio State Regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, masks and social distancing will be mandatory
