Alfred Max Brokaw, 69, of Flushing, OH, passed away Thursday, September 8, 2016 at his home.
Born on March 27, 1947, he was the son of the late Alfred Windell and Eleanor Brokaw.
Max was a retired over the road truck driver for Hennebert Trucking, a 22 year US Army Veteran, Catholic by faith, a member of the Belmont County Saddle Club, American Legion (Cadiz), and a 4H Advisor (Bits & Bridles) he was also an avid bowler and loved horseback riding.
In addition to his parents, Max was preceded in death by his daughter, Wendy Brokaw..
Surviving are his Fiancee, Janet Gaidos of Flushing; two daughters, Kathleen and Audrey Brokaw of FL; three step children, Sherri (John) Lontz of Valley Grove, OH, Craig Emory of Barnesville, OH and Michael Emory of FL; sister Brenda (Thomas) Sherrier of CA; step sister, Carol and step brother, Earl “Skip” Hawthorne of Cleveland, OH; several grandchildren; special grandchild, Lauren Lawyer; three great grandchildren and his special girls, Jazz, Tori, Stormy, Bell and his Sir Twerp.
Per Max’s request, there will be no services at this time.
Arrangements were handled by CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville WV.
