Arl, you were such a gem. A kind friend and a guy I knew that would do anything for anyone. I'm sure you will be missed by all who loved you and knew you. I know you are celebrating and free as a bird in heaven. God bless your family.

I used to go to hear him play when he was a rock guitarist in the early to mid 1970s. In my life I saw Johnny Winter, Jimmy Page, Leslie West, Mark Farner, Phil Keavy and a number of other big name guitarists and Arl was better than all of them. If I could have played (and I really tried) as good as anyone in the world I would have wanted to play as good as Arl. Rest well friend. I know you were a true Christian and you are in heaven.

Ark, you were a very special friend and brother. You were a most thoughtful companion during my first pregnancy...you would run out and get whatever I had a yen for. You were a lovely and compassionate person. We have missed you sorely.

I remember seeing Arl often when he and aunt Lois would come to California. They would come visit my dad John lois's brother. Arl was always very kind and easy to talk with, he had a very big heart and love for all he's family. If someone would contact me by email I'd appreciate.
