Audrey Jones

September 26, 1930 - July 11, 2020

Audrey Jones, 89 of West Point, passed away on July 11, 2020 at the Calcutta Health Care Center.  Audrey was born on September 26, 1930, the daughter of the late Richard and Nellie (Dunfee) Randolph.  She attended David Anderson High School and later worked as an Operator at Bliss Manufacturing.  Audrey was also a member of Madison Trinity Church in West Point.

Audrey married John Reiss Sr on July 1, 1950.  They were married for 21 years.  John passed away on August 18, 1971.  Audrey met and married James Edward Jones in 1975.  They were married until James passed away on September 8, 2005.

Left to cherish her memory are her children: John Henry Reiss Jr. and his wife, Kimberly, of Canfield, Christian Charles Reiss, of West Point, Sheila Reiss Patton and her husband, Chuck, of Graniteville, SC, and Vicky Phillips and her husband, Ron also of West Point.  She also leaves behind her stepson, Jimmy Jones, of Lisbon; two sisters: Velma Frantz of Hanoverton and Jean Chamberlain of Elkton.  There are also 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Audrey was predeceased by: her brother, Cletus “Pete” and her twin brother, Arthur “Bud” Randolph; three sisters: Violet Guido, Donna Cole, and Ruby Vesey.  She was also predeceased by her grandson Daniel Plumley.

Calling hours will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home on Friday, July 17, 2020 from 2pm-4pm.  Funeral service will follow at 4pm with Pastor Ted Barnes from Madison Trinity Church in West Point officiating.
