Daniel “Dan” Ray Clutter, 69 of East Liverpool, OH went to be with his Lord on July 1, 2020 at Weirton Medical Center.    Dan was born on July 23, 1950, son of the late Earl L Clutter and the late Virginia R (Hughes) Clutter.  He was a lifelong resident of the area.

Dan attended East Liverpool High School and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.  He was employed through the Beaver Local and East Liverpool school systems, Crucible Steel and Lordstown General Motors Assembly Plant.

Dan was a car enthusiast who enjoyed buying and selling cars.  He also enjoyed spending time with his family at the Rogers Sale and traveling to auctions throughout the area.

Dan is survived by his wife, Kay Coleman Clutter, whom he married on September 11, 1999.  Also surviving are: two sons, Dan (Tabatha) Clutter Jr and Tom (Cathy) Clutter of East Liverpool; three brothers: Brady (Clara) Clutter of Wellsville, Earl “Tom” (Linda) Clutter of East Liverpool, and Jerry (VJ) Clutter of Miledgeville, GA.  Dan is also survived by three granddaughters, whom he cherished: Atalanta, Savannah, and Bella Clutter, of East Liverpool.

In compliance with Ohio state regulations and in connection to the COVID-19 public health crisis, visitation with proper social distancing, will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 from 5PM – 7PM at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta.  The funeral service will follow at 7PM.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to assist with funeral costs.

    I will always remember Dan sitting in the entrance of Riverview striking up conversation, joking, teasing and reaching out to whomever went in or out of the building. That twinkle in his eyes always told when he was up to no good! Haha. I will miss you Dan, deeply. May you rest in Jesus's loving arms.
