David E. Edgell

September 26, 1960 - February 28, 2019

David E. Edgell, 58, of St. Clairsville, OH died Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Wheeling Hospital. He was born September 26, 1960 in Weirton, WV, a son of the late Dewey and Wilma Ruth Porter Edgell.

David was a retired employee of Laborers International Union Local 1149 in Wheeling and a Protestant by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Judy Cooper and Jeanette Hughes; two brothers, Carl and Jim Edgell.

Surviving are his wife, Loretta Olsheski Edgell of St. Clairsville; a son, MSgt. Shawn (Jessica) Edgell of Minot, ND; two sisters, Karen (Jeff) Persina and Tammy (Randy) Maderia both of Follansbee, WV; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Edgell whom he loved so much.

Friends will be received on Sunday from 1-6 pm at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialists 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH where funeral services will be held Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Craig Greathouse officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
