Deagel, Debra Kay “Debbie”, 65, of Wheeling died Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at home.

She was born in Wheeling, the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Schnelle) Deagel.

Debbie was retired from the laundry dept. at Reynolds Hospital, Glen Dale, an avid Pittsburgh Pirates fan and a Catholic by Faith.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Edward “Ed” Deagel.

Surviving are her sister Donna Deagel of Wheeling; sister-in-law Cathy Sole Deagel of Washington, PA, two nephews Christopher Deagel (Abby) of Moundsville and David Deagel (Amanda) of Washington, PA; a neice Kristina Odom (Justin) of Fairfield IL; her Fiancé  Mark Cheslick of Moundsville; several great nieces and great nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, July 13, 2020 from 2 – 4 pm and 6 – 8 pm at Care Funeral & Cremation Service, 3828 Jacob Street, South Wheeling. Services will be on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 10:30 am with Rev. Martin Smay officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Wheeling.

A special Thank You to the Wheeling Fire Department, great neighbors and her many Friends.

At the family request, please wear a facemask while attending visitation and services.

Memorial contributions may be made to Easter Seals, 1305 National Road, Wheeling or Valley Hospice, 308 Mount Saint Joseph Road, Wheeling.
