Delores Catherine (Violet) Haglock, 85, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, May 12, 2019 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

She was born on December 8, 1933 in Wheeling, daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Ernest) Violet.

Delores was a homemaker, member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, member of the Wheeling Eagles Post# 344 and loved to play Bingo, cards and dance.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Haglock; son, Skip Haglock; four brothers, Harry, Robert, Ernie and David Violet and her significant other, Phil Manack.

Surviving are her seven children, Tracie (David) Edge of Wheeling; Dorothy “Dot” (Patrick)  Dacey of Wheeling; Cheryl Violette of PA, Tammy Gonchoff of Moundsville, WV, Howard John  (Stephanie) Haglock II of Wheeling, Chris (Doug) Stenda of Glen Dale, WV and Mike (Corinna Heydle) of St. Clairsville, OH; three sisters, Margaret “Pudge” Case of Blaine, OH,, Sondra “Sonny” and Melissa Smith; three brothers, Thomas Violet; Eddie (Sherry) Violet and Kenny Violet; 21 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at CARE, South Wheeling Chapel, 3828 Jacob Street, Wheeling, from 5pm. until time of service at 7pm.
