Donna Joyce Dawson

Donna Joyce Dawson, 75, died Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry, OH with her loving family by her side.

She was born August 5, 1946 in Wheeling, WV a daughter of the late Edward and Lucy (Litten) Hoffman.

Donna was a retired payroll assistant with Price Financial. She enjoyed crocheting, animals of all kinds and her dog, Percy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Hoffman; sister, Gloria McAllister; sister-in-law, Kathy Hoffman; brother-in-law, Carl Crouse.

Surviving are her loving husband, George Dawson of St. Clairsville, OH; Two daughters, April Blair (Brian Emrisko) of Galloway, OH, Wendy Burroughs, of Lawrenceville, GA; Six brothers and sisters; Jim (Laura) Hoffman, Roger (Joyce) Hoffman, Linda Crouse, Kevin Hoffman, Melissa (Scott) Dearth, Ranae Hirt; Granddaughter, Elizabeth (Josh) Jachles of Braselton, GA; Great-grandchildren, Eden Jachles and Vincent Jachles; brother-in-law, Lou McAllister.

Per Donna’s wishes, there will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to CARE Funeral Homes & Crematory, 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950. Private entombment will be at the convenience of the family.
