Doris Pauline Bissell, 92 formerly of East Liverpool passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Alter Care in Cuyahoga Falls. She was born in East Liverpool on July 7, 1923 a daughter to the late Charles E. and Nettie (Perdue) Prince.
She lived most of her life in this area working as a press operator for the National Church Supply for 10 years. Pauline enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, working with ceramics and also attended Longs Run Presbyterian Church.
Pauline is survived by two sons: Dennis E. Bissell and his wife Sandy of Summitville, OH and Timothy Bissell and his wife Jill of Miami, FL; one brother: Ronald J. Prince of Missouri; three sisters: Sally Lynn of East Liverpool, Sondra Wain and her husband Jack of East Liverpool, Judi Blaner of East Liverpool; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband Harold Bissell whom she married July 29, 1940 and her second husband Paul Kapp; two sons: Jim and Bruce Bissell; a daughter: Pam Carroll; two brothers: Curtis “Gene” Prince and Bruce Prince; three sisters: Mary Ferguson, Margaret Diasio and Helen Prince; one granddaughter and three grandsons.
Services will be held at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11 AM with Rev. Carol Forsythe of Oakland Free Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Columbiana County Memorial Park.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Funeral Home on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 4 to 8 P.M.
