HALL, James H. Jr., 64, of Colliers, W.Va., died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at home surrounded by his family.

He was born April 8, 1949, in Marshall County, W.Va., a son to the late James Sr. and Pansy (Bunting) Hall. He was a member of the Waynesburg, Pa. Lodge 153 Free and Accepted Masons, the Scottish Rite of Wheeling, W.Va., the Osiris Shrine of Wheeling, the Disabled Veterans, the VFW Post 47 in Moundsville, W.Va., and the American Legion Post 3, in Moundsville, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Samuel “Bud” Hall, and one sister, Mildred “Midge” Cheathum.

He is survived by his loving wife, Hope (Lemley) Hall of Colliers, W.Va; two stepsons, Charles M. (Amilee) Pasco of Palmer, Alaska, and Chad V. Pasco of Wheeling; one brother, Robert (Phyllis) Hall of Moundsville; four sisters, Nancy Parks of Moundsville, Elva Rose (Hugh) Anderson of Moundsville, Shirley (Joe) Holmes of Moundsville, and Wanda (Glen) Schmid of Moundsville; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to especially thank the compassionate and caring staff of Valley Hospice and the entire staff of the VA Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa.

There will be no visitation.

Friends are invited to Jim’s home on Saturday, December 21, 2013 for a celebration of his life from 12 pm-10 pm at 3694 Eldersville Road, Colliers, W.Va.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jim’s memory to Valley Hospice, 10686 State Route 150, Rayland, Ohio 43943.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the CARE funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, W.Va. 26041.
