Jamie Beth (Wood) McDowell, 62, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

Jamie was born February 20, 1958, in Glen Dale, a daughter of William H. Wood of Moundsville and the late Phyllis (Rhodes) Wood. She was employed as a caregiver for Northwood Health Systems, Wheeling.

In addition to her father, Jamie is survived by her two children, Matthew J. McDowell of Moundsville, and Maggie (Ronald) Reuscher of Batavia, OH; two grandchildren, Maura and Connor McDowell; three sisters, Cynthy J. Wood of Moundsville, Terry (Jerry) Snyder of Moundsville, and Brenda (Barry) Wood-Whitecotton of Rogersville, TN; and the following nieces and nephews, Jason Snyder, Dr. Kelly Schuler, Brandon Holmes, Kayla Holmes-Cain, William Campiti, Kathryn Benson, Mark McDowell, Christopher McDowell, Michael McDowell, Johnna Szafran, Francis Szafran and Nathaniel McDowell.

There will be no visitation. Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Avenue, Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601, or online at www.TMCfunding.com.
