Joanne Cline Saltsman age 90 of Hammondsville, Ohio passed away November 23rd, 2019 at Country Club Manor in Steubenville, Ohio.

She was born on March 24th, 1929 in Irondale, Ohio a daughter to the late John Cline and Vivian Silverthorn. Living all her life in this area, she worked as a bookkeeper for Vodrey Law Office until she retired. She graduated from Irondale Highschool, class of 1947 then went on to graduate from Ohio Valley Business College. Joanne was a member of Pine Grove Methodist Church

She is survived by her daughters: Pamela Collins (Dave) of Salineville, Ohio and Elizabeth Carnahan (Don Jr) of Irondale, her son Fred J Saltsman (Tricia) of Hammondsville, Ohio, and a brother: Kent Cline of Grays Lake, Illinois. She also leaves behind 2 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Joanne was married to her husband, Fredrick M. Saltsman on July 2, 1951 who passed away on May 18, 2000. In addition to her parents and husband, Joanne is predeceased by her brothers: Paul, Jack, and Keith Cline, and her sisters: Shirley Sinnet, Virginia Cline and a grandson, Donnie Collins.

Services will be held at 7 PM on Tuesday at MacLean Chapel with Pastor Susan Clegg officiating. Burial will follow in New Somerset Cemetery at a later date.

Family will be present to receive friends at the MacLean Chapel of Care Funeral & Cremation Service in Wellsville on Tuesday November 26, 2019, from 3:30 pm-7pm.
