Passed Away: June 8, 2010

Kenneth Charles Kittle, 92, of Moundsville, WV passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at Reynolds Memorial Hospital.


He was born November 21, 1917 in Cameron, WV the son of the late Charles and Audra (Ingersoll) Kittle.


He was Presbyterian by faith.


Kenneth retired from Triangle Conduit where he worked for 47 years.  He was a tradesman and skilled at welding, electrical work and fixing cars.  He was a member of the IBEW.  In his free time he enjoyed Gardening, hunting, bowling, square dancing and polka. He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers Lawrence and Emerson; and by 4 sisters Alverna, Lillian, Dorothy and Imogene.


He is survived by his wife of 63 years Betty Kittle of Moundsville; a step-son Charles “Skeeter” (Joyce) Anderson of Moundsville; a son Kenneth Kittle Jr. of Moundsville; a daughter Carolyn Dobbs of Moundsville; a grandson Kevin

(Jackie) Dobbs of Cinncinati, OH; 3 granddaughters Kelly Butler, Amy Anderson and Holly (Donnie) Armstrong all of Moundsville; 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.


Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 10, 2010 from 2 – 4 p.m. and from 6-8 p.m. at CARE Funeral and Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville.  Services will be Friday, June 11, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the CARE Chapel. Pastor Paul K. Smith will officiate.


Interment will follow at Halcyon Hills Memorial Park in Sherrard, WV.
