Kim J. Lockhart, 64 of East Liverpool, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh, PA following a brief illness.
He was born in East Liverpool, Ohio on November 4, 1953 a son to the late Herbert C. and Leah Florene (Barrett) Lockhart. Kim worked as a Gun Smith for the Gunners Den for 30 years before retiring this year. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing. Having grown up in Hookstown, PA, Kim had a love of tractors and participated in Tractor Pulls at the Hookstown Fair, but especially loved gardening and looked forward to canning his own food at the end of the season.
He is survived at home by his wife Tammy (Carroll) Lockhart whom he married July 1, 1982; a son: Brian Lockhart of Hopewell Township, PA; three daughters: Stephanie Barker and her husband Rob of Ambridge, PA, Tia Boyd and her husband Caleb and Donnetta Husk and her husband Richard both of East Liverpool, OH; four sisters: Cheryl Palmer and her husband Larry of Colorado, Leah Wilkinson and her husband Tim of Colorado, Cindy Philby of Wisconsin and Donna Eastmond of Pennsylvania; grandchildren: Kylah, Caley, Anakin, Brian Thomas and Gideon along with two great grandchildren: Ryker and Davena.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son: Daniel J. Lockhart.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM.
Family and friends will gather for food and fellowship Friday, October 5, 2018 at The Gallery, 145 W. Fifth Street, East Liverpool, Ohio 43920.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
