Laura M. Boyd, 88 of Salineville, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2019 at Continuing Health Care in Lisbon, Ohio following a brief illness.
She was born in East Liverpool, OH on December 5, 1930 a daughter of the late William H. Mills Sr. and Ethel May (O’Brian) Mills. Laura lived her entire life in this area and was a homemaker.
She is survived by four daughters: Patricia Scarlott of Wellsville, OH, Diana Earl of East Liverpool, OH, Tila Miller of Salineville, OH and Darlene Boyd of Jensen Beach, FL; grandchildren: Terry Boyd, Melissa Myler, Karl Boyd, Angela Miller, Ronald Baker, Donald Baker, Carla Smith, John Earl, Jackilyn Earl, Justin Miller, Jesse Miller, Desiree Miller and Jason Miller; one step-grandson: Jeremiah Calhoun; twenty one great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Jesse Boyd; two sons: Carl Lee Boyd and Gerald E. Boyd; four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes in Calcutta on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 1 PM with Pastor Mark Blakely of First Christian Church in Wellsville officiating. Burial will take place in Spring Grove Cemetery.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta funeral home on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM.
