Leona Maud Davis, age 85, of Rogers, Ohio passed away on May 28, 2016 at the New Britain General Hospital in New Britain, Connecticut while visiting her daughter.

Born in East Liverpool on April 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Homer and Treva (Green) Gamble and had lived most of her life here as a homemaker.

Mrs. Davis is survived by, four sons; John Smith of St. Clairsville, Oh., Richard Lee Smith of East Liverpool, Oh., Michael A. Smith of Wellsville, Oh., James R. Smith of Anderson, Indiana. Seven daughters; Frankie Jo Guy of East Palestine, Oh., Theresa (Michael) Hartley of New Cumberland, WV., Elizabeth Ann (Kenneth) Lorey of Rogers, Oh., Linda Kay Cooper of East Liverpool, Oh., Karen Sue Reed of Weirton, WV., Grace Marie Adkins of East Liverpool, Oh., and Estella Lynn (Chris Smith) Collins of New Britain, Conn. and one brother, Hershel Conley of East Liverpool, Oh. 24 grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by three children; Donna Jean Smith, Paul Andrew Smith, and Kenneth Ray Smith.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 7th 2016, at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes from 4 to 8 pm.
