Lewis I. Brown, 68 of East Liverpool passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 22, 2019 following an extended illness.
He was born at home in East Liverpool, Ohio on February 25, 1951 a son to the late Paul M Brown Sr. and Lois (Haney) Brown. Living his entire life in this area, Lewis was a 1969 graduate of Beaver Local High School and worked as a Carpenter, last working in 2010. He belonged to the Gidian International and was a past President, Lewis was also a past president of the East Liverpool City Hospital Chaplaincy Program, a member of the Ohio Carpenters Union and attended Northside Community Church.
He is survived at home by his wife Anita (Zehnder) Brown whom he married June 2, 1972; a son: Zac L. Brown and his wife Cindy of Akron, OH; two daughters: Sacha L. Champ and her husband Mike of Calcutta, OH and Mandy M. Baker and her husband Eric of Calcutta, OH; three brothers: Gary Brown of Calcutta, OH, Paul M. Brown Jr. of West Point, OH and Fred Brown of Bowling Green, OH; two sisters: Fay Fowler of Berlin Center, OH and Nedra Metz of Florida; grandchildren: Isaac and his wife Kelli, Brittany, Brandon, Gracie, Emma, Claire and Livingston and two great grandchildren: Jaxson and Everleigh.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home in Calcutta on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 4 PM with Pastor Larry Rose officiating.
Family will be present to receive friends at the Calcutta funeral home on Sunday, August 25, 2019 from 12 PM up until the time of service at 4 PM.
