Linda Lou (Jones) Carte, 81, of Cameron, WV, formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away January 1, 2019, at the Cameron Nursing Home and Rehab.
She was born November 2, 1937, in Greene County, PA, daughter of the late Howard McCracken and Hazel Pauline (Ullom) Jones.
Linda was a Protestant by faith, a waitress at Bob’s Lunch and enjoyed crafting in her younger years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Carte; son, Mark Eugene Carte, and sisters, Patricia JoAnn Wright and Wilma Jean Jones.
Surviving is her nephew, Michael (Joyce) Fluharty of Moundsville; two nieces, Rebecca Mileto of Fairmont, WV and Pamela (Terry) Moore of Moundsville and special family members, Jay Adams & Larry Chancellor of St. Clairsville, OH.
Friends will be received on Monday, January 7, 2019, from 1 pm until time of services at 2 pm at CARE Funeral & Cremation Service, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville.
Interment will follow at Centennial Cemetery, Aleppo, PA.
