Lorelei A. Purton, 80 of East Liverpool, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Valley Oaks.
She was born in East Liverpool on November 3, 1938 a daughter of the late John McKelvey and Helen Holzworth McKelvey Clark. Living her entire life in this area she worked as a Sales Clerk for Scafides Market and Rite Aid Pharmacy and as a Dietary Aide for Ross Nursing Home. Lorelei was a member of the Alter & Rosary Society, Parish Ministries, Holy Family Society and the K of C as a Lady Knight and was a volunteer for East Liverpool City Hospital.
She is survived by two sons: Ken Page and his wife Candy and Dana Page both of East Liverpool; two daughters: Kim Langer and her husband Fred and Kathy Jones and her husband Bill both of East Liverpool; a brother: William R. McKelvey of San Marcos, CA; grandchildren: Aaron Schwerha and his wife Terra, Kerry Bell and her fiancé Chris Lemley, Greg Schwerha and his wife Robin, Joni Allmon and her husband James, Britney Page and her companion Steve Miller, Kenny Page, William Jones and his wife Kelly, Nikki Hague and her husband Chuck, Jimi Moore and his wife Tracy, Kristin Watkins and her husband Seth and great grandchildren: Alexa, Brooke, Taryn and Reid Schwerha; Nathan and Braydan Schwerha, Hadleigh Allmon, Kayla Allmon and James Allmon III; Giavanya, Kylar, Kali, Bryanna, Hayden and Brennyn Page, Kenny Page Jr., Jordan Page and James Page, Jakob and Luke Bell, Joey Garcia, Micah and Brenna Jones, Maia and Alana Amato, Donovan Garcia, Delaney and Jameson Watkins, Gage, Jalynn, Randalynn and Bo Moore and three great great grandchildren: Logan Miller, James Allmon IV and Sophia Riveria.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband: Kenneth Page and her 2nd husband Herbert R. Purton; a daughter: Leigh Ann Page; a sister: Dorothy Jackson; a brother: Ronald McKelvey; a grandson: Justin Page and a great grandson: Logan James Allmon.
Services will be held at the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 7 PM with Pastor Eric Edwards officiating.
Family will be present to receive friends at the funeral home in Calcutta on Friday, November 1, 2019 at the Calcutta funeral home from 5 PM up until the time of service at 7 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lorelei’s name to Angels for Animals.
