Luther Erwin Baker, 88 of Belmont, Ohio died Friday, April 5, 2019 at his home.

He was born January 11, 1931 in Adena, Ohio a son of the late Hansel and Iva Johnston Baker.

Luther was a retired machinist foreman for the Georgetown Machine Shop, a member of the Weyer Lodge 541 F & AM Centerville, Ohio, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Steubenville, St. Clairsville Beagle Club and a US Marine Corps veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two infant sisters, sister, Leona Smith and two brothers, Vernon and Robert Baker.

Surviving are his wife of sixty-three years, Constance Jane Rose Baker, three children, Leigh (Glenn) Bratton of Belmont, Ohio, Keith (Kim Calovini) Baker of Flushing, Ohio and Dean (Tamra) Baker of St Clairsville, Ohio, sister, Glenna Harmon of San Antonio, Texas and sister-in-law, Margaret Baker of Bellaire, Ohio. Also six grandchildren, Angie Mosby, Brandon Bratton, Wesley Bratton, Luke Baker, Emily Calovini, Cheyenne Calovini, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Private visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Interment in the High Ridge Cemetery in Bellaire, Ohio.
