Majeski, Eleanor L. Johnson, 81 of Glen Dale, WV, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 in Moundview Health Care.

She was born March 4, 1932 in West, WV, the daughter to the late Oscar and Pearl Postlethwait Johnson.

She was a member of Glen Dale United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by three sisters, Louise Thomas, Betty Rosen and Clara Hammond; a grandson, Timothy Coil.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ted Majeski; five daughters, Deborah (Jan) Scales of Findley, OH; Sharon (Buddy) Coil of Glen Dale; Pamela (Jerome) Morris of Moundsville, WV; Carla (Rick) Pavlik of McMechen, WV; Jennifer (Jerry) Herback of Glen Dale; a brother, Hobert Johnson of Glen Dale; 14 grandchildren, Joshua, Emily and Jared Scales, Jamie (Brad) Racer, Lauren Coil, Cody

(Loretta) Morris, Magan (Joe) Logsdon, Sarah (Roy) Anderson, Scott Pavlic, Jeremy (Annie) Herback, Amber (Adam) Helphenstine, Thad Herback and Elaina Herback, 12 great-grandcildren.

Friends will be received 2-8 p.m. Friday at the CARE Chapel, 1500 Second St., Moundsville, WV, and funeral services will be Saturday, January 24, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Morrison officiating.

Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.

Memorial Contributions may be made to Holy Youth Ministries of Simpson United Methodist Church and Glen Dale United Methodist Church.

Our family is eternally grateful to the dedicated staff of Moundview Health Care and Valley Hospice.  Their dedications made it possible for our loving parents to stay together until the end.
