Mary Lou Watson, 76, formerly of Wellsville died at Minerva Elder Care in Minerva Ohio on Monday July 11, 2016.

Mary Lou was born on November 27, 1939 in Wellsville OH, a daughter of the late Henry (Bud) Taggert and Mary (Shafer) Taggert. Having lived her entire life in the area she was a member of Oakridge Presbyterian Church. She is survived by four daughters: Beth Ann Athey of Wellsville, Mary Ellen Palmer of Wellsville, Jodi Lynn Watson of Minerva, and Tonya Jean Watson of Toronto; a sister: Patsy Miller of CA; six grandchildren: Brittiny (Justin) Stanley, whom she raised, Paige Lawrence, Carly Koontz, Vinesca Surmaceviz, William “Billy” Athey, and Bobbie Jo Athey; and great grandchild: Kingston Gardner as well as several other great grandchildren

In addition to her parents Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband Daniel C. Watson and two sisters: Catherine French and Jean Creamer.

Services will be held at the Wellsville chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes on Friday, July 15, 2016 at 12pm with Pastor Tom Allmon of Bethesda Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.

Family will be present to receive friends at the Wellsville funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 3-8pm.
