Noble, Kristopher “Kris” Lavell, 31 of Columbus, Ohio, Formerly of Moundsville, WV, passed away suddenly January 10, 2014.

He was born October 27, 1982 in Glen Dale, WV, the son of David and Susie Standiford Noble of Moundsville.

Kristopher was a gifted musician who played the violin and drums, enjoyed his motorcycle and cars, attended various musical concerts, loved to hike and explore, kept close tabs on Mountaineer athletics, assisted friends and family with whatever he could-including a rental business, and loved to fly the skies.

Kristopher received his Bachelors in Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He logged in over 5000+ hours in his career as a pilot.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Joseph Standiford and his father-in-law, Robert Farthing.

In Addition to his parents, surviving are his loving wife, best friend and soul mate, Lauren Farthing Nobel of Columbus, OH; brother, Jason (Mary) Noble; maternal grandmother, Violet Standiford of Moundsville,   paternal grandparents of Moundsville; three nieces, Jamie, Addison and Claire and numerous family and friends.

Friends will be received Thursday, January 16 from 3-8 P.M. at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Lutes & Kirby Vance Chapel, 118 Grant Avenue, Moundsville where funeral services will be held Friday, January 17, at 11 A.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the “Kristopher Noble Memorial Scholarship” at United Bank.
