Paul Gerald Fortuna

Paul G. Fortuna, 78, of Maynard, OH died Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at his home. He was born September 8, 1940 in Crescent, OH a son of the late Frank and Pearl Ego Fortuna.

Paul was retired from Ohio Coal and Construction Company, work at the former Bell Nursing Home as a nursing assistant, a Times Leader paper delivery driver for many years. He truly loved this job and his customers. If all the gifts and pastries he received was an indication, they felt the same way.

Paul was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a U.S. Navy Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley Fortuna, his twin and Joe Mora; a sister, Doris Jean Fortuna-Stidd; a nephew, Craig Stidd.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Marianne Stark Fortuna of Bridgeport, OH; three sons, Jonathan Fortuna of Houston, TX., Mark Fortuna of Bridgeport and Daniel (Lynne) Fortuna of Uniontown, OH; two sisters, Madelyn (Paul) Witsberger of Maynard and Joan Mora-Pinto of Middleburg Heights, OH; two granddaughters, Kaitlyn (Stephen) Carkhuff and Alyssa Fortuna; a great-granddaughter, Raelynn; many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 11 am until time of funeral service at 1 pm at Care Funeral & Cremation Specialist 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH with Rev. Homer Hardin officiating.

Burial will be held in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH at the convenience of the family.
