Pauline Carmichael, age 93, formerly of Wellsville, passed away at her daughters home in Columbus on Sunday, November 26, 2017, after a brief illness.
The daughter of the late Clarence and Edith Johnston, Mrs. Carmichael was born on October 6, 1924 in Wellsville. She was a graduate of Wellsville High School and had lived her most of her life there.
Mrs. Carmichael was predeceased by her husband, Roy J. Carmichael, on December 12, 2005.
She is survived by four daughters, Christine Willis, and her husband, Bryan, of Columbus, Ohio, Connie Carmichael and her spouse, Sharon, of Columbus, Ohio Candy Bangor of East Liverpool, and Amy Carmichael also of Columbus. One granddaughter: Molly Rodgers and her husband, Steve, of Wellsville, Ohio and two great grandchildren, Aurora and Paxton Rodgers, also of Wellsville. Two Sisters: Marilyn Chandler of Salisbury, N.C. and Janet Bailey of Louisville, Ohio.
Memorial services will be held on 12:00 Noon Saturday, December 16, 2017, at the Wellsville Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Home with Donald Bangor officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call and visit with family one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
