Raymond A. Birkett

Raymond Allen Birkett, 67, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020, at home surrounded by family.

He was born May 13, 1952, a son of the late William and Rosemary (Bounds) Birkett. Ray worked for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel for 30 years. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and enjoyed camping. Ray was a talented musician and could play most instruments.

Ray is survived by his loving wife, of 27 years, Cassy Birkett; two children, Melissa Bonds and Scott Birkett both of Wheeling; five grandchildren, McKenzie Spauding, Mason Bonds, Cameron Birkett, Alexa Birkett and Rylee Birkett; one great-granddaughter, Ava Lynn Birkett and many close friends.
