Richard Joseph “Knob” Vicker, 80, of St. Clairsville, formerly of Maynard passed away Tuesday December 7, 2021 at Wheeling Hospital

He was born January 3, 1941 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, a son of the late Frank and Nellie Spinda Vicker.

Knob was a retired coal miner, from the Oak Park Mine. He was a member of the Fairpoint Polish Club and Maynard PNA. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, polka music and playing the “tub” at the Polka Dances. The last few years, he especially enjoyed being a homebody with his wife, Linda and furkids.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ron Vicker.

Surviving are his wife, Linda Vicker of St. Clairsville, brother, John (Donna) Vicker of St. Clairsville, Ohio and Stepson, Robert Tomlinson of Columbus, Ohio, nieces Lori, Lisa, Suzanne as well as many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family and friends will be received at the Care Funeral Home, 204 West Main Street St. Clairsville, OH 43950 on Friday, December 10, 2021 from 12:00 pm until time of services at 1:00 pm with Father Thomas Chillog as celebrant. Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
