Rob would work on local ham operators equipment and not charge them. Truly a kind caring man . My prayers to his family.

I remember when I lived in ohio with Uncle Rob and Denise; Rob was always making jokes and putting a smile on my face. He was always fun to talk to and be around. My favorite memory was when he came home from work and I was curled under a blanket in front of the TV; he took one look at me and burst out laughing saying "you are just like Denise". :) When I came home from culinary school every day he would always ask,"whatcha bring me?". If it was bread his face would just light up. I cherish those memories. Rest in peace Uncle Rob. I will miss you but I will see you again.

Sorry to learn of Rob's passing. I have known him since the late 80's as we both worked for two-way radio companies and shared our passion for amateur radio. He was always fun to work with and we never had enough time for all of the stories of previous radio experiences and common friends. The last time I saw Rob was at Lauttamus's shop in Weirton and our last radio conversation was on the 147.000Mhz Cambridge repeater a couple months ago. Rest easy my friend, and 73
