Robert E. Porter, 89 of Saint Clairsville Ohio passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at The Wheeling Hospital.
He was born January 1, 1931 in Saint Clairsville Ohio, son of the late Paul and Maude Harris Porter.
Robert was a retired employee of the Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Corporations Yorkville Plant, Member of the first Presbyterian Church of Saint Clairsville, Ohio City Lodge 486 F&AM, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Valley of Stuebenville, Osiris Shrine, Jesters and Legion of Honor, Past Patron Order of Eastern Star and Past Exalted Ruler of the Martins Ferry Elks, and a Veteran of the United States Naval Reserves.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Alice Brown and Elsie Lydic.
Surviving are his wife, Connie A. Kaiser Porter, whom he married July 2, 1954, one daughter Barbara J. (Richard E.) Petrozzi, of Bethesda Ohio, and one grandson, Ryan Petrozzi of Bethesda Ohio. Also, several nieces and nephews.
Private visitation and services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Care Funeral Home and Cremation Specialists Saint Clairsville Chapel with Pastor Kenn Sickle officiating.
Internment in the Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove Ohio.
