THOMAS, Roger Lee, 51.
It is with great sadness that we announce Roger Lee Thomas, loving son and brother, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019.
Roger graduated from John Marshall High School and went on to attend West Liberty and Marshall Universities. Roger embraced life in beautiful, sun-drenched Florida where he spent his years working in hospitality.
Roger lived a glamorous and exciting life. He was no stranger to Disney World and Universal Studios, as they were part of Roger Lee’s daily existence. He enjoyed traveling to exotic places like Puerto Rico, Mexico, and the Bahamas. Roger’s incredible love and devotion to his pets spoke volumes about his kind, compassionate nature. Roger Lee selflessly loved and cared for all people. He had an abundance of lifelong friends from all walks of life and he will be missed by many.
He was predeceased by his grandparents, Floyd and Sarah Thomas, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Gray, and Patty Meeks.
Roger Lee is survived by his parents Roger and Linda Thomas; and two sisters, Rebecca McCamick and Jaime Glover.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 4, 2019, from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at the CARE Funeral Home, 1500 Second Street, Moundsville, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at 11 am with Rev. Rodney Hubbs officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Moundsville.
