Ruth E. Miller, 89 formerly of Wellsville, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia, OH following a brief illness.
She was born in Wellsville, OH on June 17, 1926 a daughter to the late John C. and Ida Mae (Hindes) Lamp. Ruth was a homemaker, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by two sons: John R. Miller of Leetonia, OH and Harold W. Miller of Wellsville; three daughters: Evelyn Rudibaugh of Lisbon, OH, Carolyn Holsinger of Columbiana, Oh and Bonnie Raynes of Leetonia, OH; nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Miller whom she married May 21, 1943 and a daughter: Martha Rae Miller.
A memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 4 P.M. at the Columbiana Nazarene Church on Elm Street. Friends may call from 3:30 to 4:00. A luncheon will follow at the church.
The Calcutta Chapel of the Martin MacLean Altmeyer Funeral Homes was entrusted with her arrangements.
