Thomas William Doyel, 73, of Moundsville, WV, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, WV.

Tom was born April 8, 1945, in Glen Dale, the son of the late Thomas Albert and Betty (Wilkerson) Doyel. He was a retired crane operator for Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp., after 32 years of service; a member of the Wood Hill United Methodist Church; and a U.S. Navy Vietnam veteran. He was also a member of the Moundsville Cruisers Car Club, and loved showing his ’56 Chevy Bel Air.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Cindy Doyel, in 2014. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Donna Sue (Humell) Doyel; two children, Thomas Jarritt Doyel (fiance’, Glenda Alberts) of Moundsville and Melissa (Brian) Rose of Mansfield, OH; four grandchildren, Zakery Furbee, Brody Doyel and Alyssa Doyel, all of Moundsville, and Emmeley Rose of Mansfield, OH; and a step-granddaughter, Ashley West of Bethlehem.

In accordance with Tom’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wood Hill United Methodist Church, 4048 Waynesburg Pike Route 250, Moundsville WV 26041 or the Marshall County Animal Rescue League, 37 Animal Shelter Drive, Moundsville, WV 26041.
