Passed Away: March 7, 2011

Walter C. Arensberg “Buzz” 87, of Wheeling, WV, passed away Monday, March 7, 2011.


Walter was born April 22, 1923 in Pittsburgh, PA, the son of the late John W. Arensberg and Florence Arensburg.


He was a Christian by Faith.


Walter was the owner of Beltone Hearing Service in Wheeling, WV for 45 years.


He served in the United States Army in the WWII and Korea War.


Tennis was his life’s passion.


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Craig Arensberg.


He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Barbara Arensberg of Wheeling, WV; two sons, Doug (Nancy L.) Arensberg and Jeff Arensberg, both of Wheeling, WV; his sister, Helen Whitlock of Greer, S.C; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.


In honoring Walter’s wishes there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
