Wanda Kay (Lightner) Moren, 73, of Moundsville, WV, passed away on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling, WV.
Wanda was born on January 10, 1946 in Glen Dale, WV, daughter of the late George and Martha Virginia (Hall) Lightner.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Church of God, retired owner & operator of Granny’s House (childcare), loved quilting, crafts, jigsaw puzzles and shopping at yard sales. Her main priority in life was to make sure her children were taken care of and needed for nothing.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her soul mate, John L. Kernan and two brothers, Kenneth Franklin Lightner and Gerald Wayne Lightner.
Wanda is survived by her two sons, Wilson (Tricia) Barnes Jr. of Moundsville and their family, Danielle and her child Ezra John, Georgia, Virginia, Victoria, Madison, Lilly and James (Angela) Barnes of Amherst, OH and their family, Sam, Jacob and Pierce; two daughters, Martha (John) Mercer of Proctor, WV and their family, Scott (Kristin) Anderson and their child Aubreigh, Kaylee, Kristina, John II and Mary (Chad) Gump of Proctor and their family, Stephanie (Travis) and their child, Addy, Chaz (Karrie Jackson) and their children, Aiden, Dade, Chase, Bristol and E3 Master-at-Arms Josh; brother, John Dennis Lightner and Patty LeMasters of Moundsville and her beloved extended family, Mary Ann, Tonya, Billy (Janice) , John and their families.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Cornerstone Church of God from 5-7pm with Rev. Ron Wilfong officiating followed by food and fellowship.
Memorial contributions may be made to www.TMCFunding.com to help the family off-set any expenses accrued.
