William J. McLaughlin, 91, of Moundsville, passed away Monday, May 30, 2016 at Acuity Health Care in Belmont Hospital.
He was born April 8, 1925, a son of the late Bill and Ann (Whisle) McLaughlin. William was a Catholic by faith. he was a WWII, Army Veteran and later retired from the A & P Tea Company after 44 years of service. William enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf and woodworking.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Edna “Bettie” (2010) and two brothers, Bernard and Eugene.
Surviving are his two children, Barry McLaughlin of Parkersburg and Bunni Doyle of Glen Dale; two granddaughters, Amanda Doyle and Samantha Curry, and two great-granddaughters, Lauren and Ciaran, who loved to make their Pappy Mack laugh.
